Co-Collections Manager (Collections Information)

Details:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and computer-savvy individual to join our team as a Co-Collections Manager. This is a shared voluntary role, with stipends potentially available subject to negotiation. This role focuses on managing and cataloguing our collections. 

You will work collaboratively with other Co-Collections Managers and the Visitor Services Manager to support museum projects and with an emphasis on enhancing our collection records.

In this role, you will catalogue information on new and existing objects, track the movement of collections in and out of storage, and resolve inquiries via email. You will also use the collections database to locate and retrieve specific objects, supporting various departments. Additionally, you will help co-develop and co-manage a team of volunteers and stewards to enhance the accuracy and accessibility of our collection information.
