Co-Collections Manager (Collections Care)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate individual to join our team as a Co-Collections Manager. This shared voluntary role focuses on the care and preservation of our collections. You will work collaboratively with other Co-Collections Managers and the Visitor Services Manager to support museum projects and maintain the integrity of our stored collections.

In this role, you will photograph and upload images of collection items to the database, handle and pack objects for storage, and monitor environmental conditions in storage areas. 

Additionally, you will co-develop and co-manage a team of volunteers and stewards to support collections care activities. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the preservation of history and heritage while gaining practical experience in collections management.
